Arrive at Selvatura Park for a peaceful combination of self-guided cloud-forest exploration and a guided wildlife experience. Follow approximately three kilometers of maintained trails and cross eight suspension bridges at different heights above the forest floor.

Enjoy changing perspectives from ground level to the treetop canopy while surrounded by moss-covered trees, ferns, bromeliads and mountain mist. Forest wildlife may appear, but sightings along the trail vary naturally.

Continue to the Sloth Habitat for a guided 30–40 minute experience. Learn about the resident sloths, their behavior and conservation while observing them respectfully. The current Silver Pack does not include ziplining, the Butterfly Garden, Hummingbird Garden, lunch or transportation unless separately confirmed.

The package takes place at Selvatura Park in Monteverde. Arrive at least 15 minutes before the confirmed start time. Current published package times are 8:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Transportation is not listed as included. Confirm directions, parking or any optional shuttle before the tour date.

Allow approximately 2.5–3 hours for both included experiences. Timing varies with walking pace, weather and park flow.

Selvatura currently requires reservations at least 48 hours in advance and a minimum of two participants.

Monteverde can be cool, humid, windy and rainy at any time of year.

• Stay on marked trails and follow all park instructions.
• Do not jump, rock the bridges or climb any structures.
• Food is not permitted on the trails or inside the Sloth Habitat.
• Do not feed wildlife or touch the sloths.
• The Sloth Habitat must be visited with its guide.
• Children must remain supervised by an accompanying adult.
• The route includes walking, inclines and potentially damp surfaces.
• Forest wildlife sightings vary and are not guaranteed.

Selvatura’s current policy states that written cancellations made at least 48 hours before the tour receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours but at least 24 hours before the tour receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.
