Arrive at Selvatura Park in Monteverde for a nature-centered combination of the park’s hanging bridges and Butterfly Garden. The suspension-bridge route follows approximately three kilometers of maintained cloud-forest trails and crosses eight bridges at different heights above the forest floor.

Move between ground-level forest and treetop viewpoints while observing moss-covered trees, ferns, bromeliads and the misty canopy. Wildlife may appear along the route, but sightings vary naturally.

Continue to the Butterfly Garden, where a guide introduces tropical butterfly species, their life cycles and their role in the ecosystem. This package does not include the canopy zipline, Sloth Habitat, Hummingbird Garden, meals or transportation unless separately confirmed.

The package is offered at Selvatura Park in Monteverde. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the confirmed start time for check-in. Current published start times are 8:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Transportation is not listed as included. Confirm directions, parking or any optional shuttle before your tour date.

Allow approximately 2.5–3 hours for the complete Wood Pack. The park operates daily, but availability and schedules can change.

Selvatura currently requires reservations at least 48 hours in advance and a minimum of two participants.

Monteverde can be cool, humid, windy and rainy even during the dry season.

• Stay on marked trails and follow all staff instructions.
• Do not jump, rock the bridges or climb any structures.
• Food is not permitted on the trails or inside the Butterfly Garden.
• Do not feed wildlife or touch butterflies and other animals.
• Children must remain supervised by an accompanying adult.
• The route includes walking, inclines and potentially damp surfaces.
• Wildlife and specific butterfly sightings are not guaranteed.

Selvatura’s current policy states that cancellations made in writing at least 48 hours before the tour receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours but at least 24 hours before the tour receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.
